My Favorite Chair

I love chairs.

I love chairs. I am not sure why. Maybe it's because I came of age in interior design school in the early 70's when we studied all of the great iconic chair designs by famous designers. Maybe it's because chairs and body parts have the same name - legs, arms, backs - okay you've got it. Maybe it's because well-known designers and architects design chairs to establish their design identity through a chair whether they are a furniture designer or not. Anyway, I own some famous chairs by famous people such as Warren Platner, Marcel Breuer, Hans J. Werner, and more. I will be highlighting more about my chairs and others in future writings.
